Dear Colleague:
As ACE continues to assist the financial services industry to
achieve their technology and compliance objectives, it has been
yet another trailblazing year for us. Looking back, it has been
our busiest year yet on all fronts.
Substantial Expansion
:
We have significantly consolidated our operations in the U.S. Asia
and Europe, by investing in key people, sound infrastructure and
a global marketing drive. Going forward, it is our intention to
continue to leverage these resources to further expand our steadily
growing worldwide presence and evolve as the market leader in our
chosen fields.
Prestigious Projects
In 2004 we have been awarded a significant number of
key projects in the U.S., Asia and Europe Leading Financial institutions
in the region have chosen ACE, a true testament of ACE's growing
credentials in the industry. This is especially significant for
us since these institutions have (in many instances) opted for more
than one ACE solution spanning Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management,
STP and EAI.
ACE is currently in advanced talks with a number
of global institutions to deploy its latest solutions for FAX automation,
Trade Lifecycle Management and Intelligent Message Generation.
Technology Breakthroughs
During the past year we have been able to tap the high-end technology
domains of ultra-thin client technology, J2EE architecture and OLAP
technologies. These new approaches will make ACE's systems even
more ubiquitous and meeting the high performance levels demanded
by global institutions. The benefits of these new technologies will
be seen in our new versions of the following ACE products:
- Web Assistant for message entry
- ACE Analyzer for Analysis and reporting
- ACE Enhancer for Auto-message repair
Launch of STP 5.0: An
Advanced Enterprise Platform for end-to-end automation
In October ACE launched its much-awaited ACE Toolkit
5.0 solution. This solution provides Financial Institutions and
Corporate with an intelligent and cost-effective rules engine handling
all transactions (trades, payments, etc.) in a controlled risk-averse
environment. This solution has been designed to also meet such regulatory
and compliance requirements as (OFAC, Basel II, US PATRIOT Act,
AML, Fraud detection etc.). As we can see ACE Toolkit 5.0 not only
provides all the benefits of STP and EAI but enables financial institutions
to meet all these requirements too. The system is also suitable
for Service Bureaus, Closed User Groups (CUGS) and BPO organizations
to provide these services to their clients.
Resounding Industry Recognition
During 2004 , our products obtained no less than three separate
SWIFT certifications; SWIFT Alliance Plug-in, the prestigious Financial
EAI SWIFTReady Gold Label and the SWIFTReady Gold label in their
Intelligent Message Enhancer category. ACE now offers an unbeatable
proposition of expertise in advanced messaging technology In 2004
, ACE has been the only company in the World to have simultaneously
obtained these 3 accreditations.
Participation at Eminent
Industry Events
ACE participated in several key industry events. The foremost being
SIBOS 2004 in Atlanta and SOFE in Antwerp. ACE saw
this as an opportunity to project its solutions to the industry
and also partake in the several operational and regulatory issues
prevalent in the industry. ACE launched its STP 5.0 at SIBOS and
was greatly encouraged by the response received.
