ACE Update
Sibos 2005 Edition
Welcome to the Sibos Edition of ACE Update,
a special briefing on our Sibos 2005 agenda part of
our regular updates of developments at ACE.
This year's Sibos comes earlier than usual, being
held in Copenhagen between Monday 5th September to Friday 9th September.
It has been a hectic summer here at ACE, rolling out major implementations,
preparing for Sibos, obtaining new SWIFT certifications and putting
the finishing touches to a range of new products (see below).

include all our new brochures, White Papers Case Studies etc. in

ACE to launch Pelican™
for TARGET2
ACE will unveil its state-of-the-art PELICAN™ System
for TARGET2 at Sibos 2005.
ACE's PELICAN™ suite is a pan European payments,
liquidity and cash management system. It supports full connectivity
to TARGET2, EBA, STEP2, Correspondent Banking, domestic clearing
and ACH networks requirements.
Key functionalities include:
- Pan European Payments & Liquidity Management System
- Full support for Multi-Currency Correspondent Banking
- Complete access to all TARGET2 SSP and EBA services
- Multi-Bank Functionality
- Support for Direct & Indirect Participants

ACE unveils a new Corporate
STP solution
We are also pleased to announce our new Corporate
STP module which we will be demonstrating at Sibos 2005.
ACE Corporate Solutions with SWIFT network connectivity
enables corporates to have a single window access to all their banks
and achieve End-to-End straight through processing in the Financial
Supply Chain, improve Cash Management, optimize their commercial
payments and collections processes and obtain real time balance
and liquidity information from various bank accounts.
This solution will be beneficial to Corporates
who would like to achieve efficiencies in payments messaging, and
connect to all their commercial banks and their services via a single
SWIFT window. It consolidates and reduces transaction costs by using
SWIFT standards based banking services fully automating their financial
supply chain and integrating with the physical supply chain. It
can also be applied to manage cash and liquidity in real-time.
ACE Corporate STP solution is also ideal for Banks
who would like to offer corporates and other customers various products
and solutions using MA-CUGs (Member Administered Closed User Groups)
including cash management, real time balances and transactions,
financial supply chain information, and commercial payments and
collections.
It intergrates with the financial and physical
supply chains through RosettaNet, TWIST (Treasury Workstation Integration
Standards Team ) and SWIFT standards.
ACE launches an advanced
IBAN/STP+ Solution
Our latest STP Toolkit module enables financial
institutions to capture, recognise, process and validate IBANs.
The module complies with the requirements of STP+ by:
- Specifying the beneficiary Account Number in a valid IBAN Format;
- By identifying the Beneficiary’s Bank/Branch with a Valid BIC
code.
What are the benefits?
- Complete STP+ solution for Eurozone, including EBA, STEP2, Correspondent
Banks, TARGET2 etc.
- Powerful IBAN extraction capabilities, using the most up-to-date

ACE to launch PELICAN™
for Cash Reporting
ACE will launch PELICAN™ – Cash Reporting module
is a SWIFTNet ready Real Time Nostro Account Information Solution
that can be used both by a Service Provider and a Service User.
It provides account and transaction information and query facilities
to help institutions manage their payments in real time, using a
single window interface to SWIFT. The PELICAN™ system supports real-time
reconciliation and liquidity management. Used for both domestic
and cross-border transactions, it allows the exchange of real-time
information over various market infrastructures (CLS, TARGET2, etc),
for Nostro account servicing institutions, and also for corporates.
The Cash Reporting module can be integrated with other PELICAN™
modules like payment generation, exception processing, liquidity
management and various back-office and clearing system connections
to obtain a complete solution for your real-time payments, liquidity
and cash management needs.
This year, in addition to SWIFTReady Gold accreditation
for "Intelligent Message Enhancer", "Financial EAI" and SWIFTAlliance
Access Plug-in label, ACE solutions have received two new SWIFTNet
Ready accreditations, SWIFTNet Ready 2005 for Nostro Account Information
- Provider and Nostro Account Information - User.
This recognition is a testament to ACE's commitment
to offer state-of-the-art business solutions to the SWIFT community
Exciting new developments
at ACE
ACE has further extended its AML product
line AML Toolkit. Visitors to ACE's stand will be able to view the
latest demonstration of our AML Toolkit product which covers Compliance
Message Filtering, KYCB (Know Your Customers Business), Comprehensive
Reporting and Fraud Detection modules - now with extensive analysis
capabilities.
